Kate Anderson, a Brockville native and proud graduate of Brockville Collegiate Institute, was a competitive swimmer with the Upper Canada Swim Club and earned All-Canadian Varsity Athlete honors at Mount Allison University. Graduating with first-class honors in Political Science, she completed her Bachelor of Laws at the University of Victoria, participating in exchange programs with the University of Limerick Ireland and the University of Western Ontario.
After articling with Cohen-Highley in London, Ontario, Kate returned to Brockville to begin her legal career. Called to the Bar of Ontario in September 2002, she practiced with Wilson/Evely, focusing on family law. In 2004, she became full-time counsel for Family and Children’s Services, where she handled complex child protection cases, honing her negotiation and
litigation skills.
In 2013, Kate opened her own legal practice in downtown Brockville, where she lives with her husband and three children. She remains one of the leading family lawyers in Ontario, dedicated to achieving the best results for her clients.
